Description

Lead infrastructure operations and technical troubleshooting for mission-critical virtualization and networking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes, including conducting RCA and alert analysis for monitoring enhancements.
• Provide technical guidance to L1 teams during major outages and service failures.
• Own the installation and configuration of ESXi, vCenter, vLogInsight, VMware Data Protection, and NSX.
• Maintain ESX host health and troubleshoot VM snapshots, restoration, vMotion, and cloning issues.
• Create and manage VM templates for Linux and Windows OS deployment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure and technical leadership.
• Expertise in VMware administration, including ESXi (5.0, 5.5, 6.0) and vCenter (5.5, 6.0).
• Hands-on experience with vMotion, SVMotion, HA, and DRS features.
• Proficiency in managing vCenter clusters, distributed virtual switches, and port groups.
• Experience deploying and managing virtual machines using OVF/OVA.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors during outages and manage cross-project activities.
• Competency in creating SOP, KEDB, and technical documentation.
• Experience with capacity reporting and resource bottleneck monitoring.
