Description

Manage large-scale infrastructure programs and transformation initiatives within a waterfall environment, supporting HFT business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, focusing on core services, cloud, and data center strategies.
• Act as the central point of contact for infrastructure programs to define requirements, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.
• Communicate program status, plan variances, and remediation options to project members, stakeholders, and senior executives.
• Establish project governance and escalation paths to ensure all stakeholders remain informed of risks and issues.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Compliance, and Information Security to manage vendor contracts and service providers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience within banking or hedge fund environments.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects, including data center strategy and migration plans.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, including computer hardware, virtualization, operating systems (Windows/Linux), databases, storage, and networking.
• Experience working in a waterfall project management methodology.
• Proficiency with Jira and MS Project.
• Experience managing multiple vendors and third-party service providers.
• Familiarity with automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and ITSM workflows.
• Ability to communicate technical status and project metrics clearly to both technical teams and senior executives.
