Description

You will build and maintain automation and configuration management infrastructure to support large-scale distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage automation infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop continuous delivery frameworks, including deployment automation and configuration management.
• Manage containerized environments and production code deployments using Docker.
• Administer Linux systems and core network components, including load balancers, VLANs, and firewalls.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience building automation or configuration management infrastructure (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet).
• 6+ years of experience with Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• 6+ years of experience deploying production code using Docker containers.
• Strong background in Linux administration and network administration.
• Deep understanding of core internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience with network administration, including routing, iptables, IP subnetting, and proxies.
• Experience with cloud services, specifically AWS or Azure (IaaS and PaaS).
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Java/Spring Boot, CQRS, event streaming, Kafka, or Spark.
• Experience using Git and Jenkins for continuous delivery build systems.

Preferred Skills

• Groovy, Go/Golang, or Chaos Engineering.
