Good to Have Skills: Knowledge of HP, Dell, IBM hardware, VCS, VXVM and VVR technologies, experience with enterprise infrastructure tools, root cause analysis capabilities, external data center services vendor management experience, and strong communication skills for managing stakeholder relationships across business and technology teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical tier-3 production support management for large complex Unix/Linux infrastructure environments.
• Proactively monitor overall production support systems, resolving risks and issues while initiating corrective action plans.
• Analyze complex technical problems and situations to propose simple and effective solutions for clients.
• Communicate complex technical issues to business users in language they can easily understand and comprehend.
• Create and maintain comprehensive knowledge base documentation to ensure effective knowledge transfer within the team.
• Manage workload effectively while adapting to changing priorities and demands in a high-pressure environment.
• Participate in engineering solutions development and implementation of various infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Implement enterprise infrastructure tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency and system performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for system faults and work on reduction strategies to prevent future occurrences.
• Provide regular communication to management and stakeholders regarding production support status including risks and mitigations.

Experience Required: At least 5 years of experience in Unix/Linux SME role with highly technical and problem solving skills in Linux environment. Prior experience in large scale enterprise infrastructure support, re-engineering, performance fine tuning and experience in Infrastructure Support Group in a high availability/mission critical environment.

Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
