Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and guide the technical implementation of a new Fiscal Agent Services (FAS) module as part of the Medicaid Enterprise System
Ensure solutions align with CMS guidelines, MITA maturity goals, interoperability standards, and federal modularity requirements
Lead architectural reviews and assess solution implementations for alignment with enterprise architecture standards and technical policies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of proficiency in architectural modeling, data management concepts, and security best practices
10+ years of excellent communication and stakeholder engagement experience, including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
10+ years collaborating with vendors, system integrators, and multidisciplinary technical teams
10+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or equivalent

HIGHLY DESIRED EXPERIENCE
10+ years designing or supporting large-scale healthcare or government IT systems, preferably Medicaid or MES modules
10+ years of strong understanding of the MITA framework and federal interoperability requirements
10+ years of experience with technologies including:
Node.js | Java | Angular | React | Python | REST | JSON | XML | X12 | FHIR | HTML5
10+ years of knowledge involving:
Databases | ETL Tools | Relational Databases | SharePoint | X12 | Legacy Programming
10+ years of knowledge in:
Enterprise Integration | Service-Oriented Architecture | APIs | Cloud Computing | ETL | Modular System Design
8+ years of prior experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES)
8+ years of experience in state government, public-sector consulting, or large enterprise architecture roles
