Description

Lead strategic sourcing and architecture planning for centralized IT infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic sourcing of complex IT infrastructure solutions, including server, storage, network, and end-user services.
• Lead requirements development sessions with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications for new and existing solutions.
• Conduct market research, supplier engagement, and tool demonstrations to inform strategy and planning phases.
• Review and analyze supplier proposals from technical, hardware, and software perspectives to ensure alignment with existing infrastructure.
• Draft detailed requirements, system interaction plans, and project schedules for RFP implementation and transition.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT solutions architecture and strategic sourcing.
• Deep expertise in server, storage, data center services, and network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in high availability, disaster recovery, and IT security architectures.
• Strong background in end-user services, including devices (PCs, laptops, tablets) and support models.
• Experience leading requirements discovery, abstraction, and solution context formulation.
• Ability to review technical proposals and provide actionable feedback to RFP teams.
• Proficient in technical reporting, memoranda, and summary preparation for leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience collaborating with implementation and transition teams for complex deployments.
