Description

You will design, install, and maintain enterprise networking and software solutions to support life safety systems and transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan, and install enterprise networking and software solutions.
• Assess existing network and software architectures to recommend improvements based on cybersecurity best practices.
• Configure hardware and software, document solutions, and train team members on new implementations.
• Monitor network resources for faults and traffic anomalies to resolve connection issues.
• Design network extensions and manage the deployment of new or replacement communications infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, architecture diagrams, inventory records, and change histories.
• Support threat hunting, mitigation, and the improvement of cybersecurity controls.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in General Information Technology.
• 5 years of experience with Cisco Routing and Switching.
• 5 years of experience with Network Security and Firewall Administration.
• 5 years of experience with Routing Protocols including BGP and OSPF.
• 5 years of experience with VPN and Remote Access Technologies.
• 4 years of experience with Authentication protocols such as Radius and TACACS.
• 3 years of experience in Integration Troubleshooting.
• 2 years of experience in Network Design and Subnetting.
• 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
• A 4-year degree in any discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DNS, DHCP, and Network Monitoring.
• Experience with FMC/Firepower and Network Cable Management.
• Experience with Software Integrations and Solutions Design-Build.
