Description

Design and deploy enterprise networking and software solutions for life safety systems. You will own the network architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing network and software solutions to recommend improvements based on product specifications and cybersecurity best practices.
• Design network extensions, configure equipment, and assist with new hardware deployment.
• Monitor network resources for faults and traffic anomalies to resolve connection issues.
• Maintain architecture documentation, inventory records, and change histories.
• Respond to Tier 1 and 2 support requests and perform break/fix tasks.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in General Information Technology.
• 5 years of experience with Cisco Routing and Switching.
• 5 years of experience with VLAN Management and Subnetting.
• 5 years of experience with Routing Protocols including BGP and OSPF.
• 5 years of experience with VPN and Remote Access Technologies.
• 4 years of experience with Authentication protocols such as Radius and TACACS.
• 2 years of experience with Firewall Administration.
• 3 years of experience in Integration Troubleshooting.
• 4-year degree in Computer Science, technology discipline, or another discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Network Security, Cybersecurity, and FMC/Firepower.
• Knowledge of DNS/DHCP, Network Monitoring, and Network Cable Management.
• Experience in Solutions Design-build.
