Description

You manage AWS infrastructure and automation for the 2nd shift.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage AWS components including EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Write Python or Bash scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Monitor systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK to resolve production issues.
• Document system knowledge and collaborate with teams on network fundamentals like DNS and firewalls.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
• Strong proficiency in AWS infrastructure services.
• Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Understanding of network fundamentals including DNS, firewall rules, and virtual networks.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications (e.g., SysOps Administrator).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/ECS).
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling like GitHub Actions or DevOps pipelines.
