Description

You will manage and scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform with a focus on automation and Kubernetes orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to implement infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.
• Streamline CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud DevOps tools including Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy.
• Manage containerized applications through Kubernetes to ensure optimal orchestration and scaling.
• Implement security best practices covering identity management, network policies, and data encryption.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure or related roles.
• Expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and Google Cloud DevOps tools.
• Hands-on experience automating CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab, or Cloud Build.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and networking principles.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for task automation.
• Knowledge of cloud security, including IAM and encryption.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud certifications such as Professional DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Microservices architecture, or serverless computing.
