Description

Manage and maintain Linux-based hardware systems and server environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rack-mounted systems through routine power management checks and firmware updates.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot software RAID arrays using mdadm.
• Design resilient hardware systems using USB, SATA, and PCIe storage interfaces.
• Implement security practices including firewall configuration, VPN management, and Linux server hardening.
• Execute hardware recovery procedures across various RAID levels.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and CentOS.
• Hands-on experience with hardware recovery and RAID level management.
• Proficiency with mdadm for software RAID configuration and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of storage interfaces including USB, SATA, and PCIe.
• Understanding of gRPC and GraphQL protocols for service communication.
• Experience with API design.
• Practical knowledge of firewalls and VPNs for securing Linux environments.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with gRPC.
