Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions utilizing Dell servers, NetApp storage, VMware virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure services (AWS/Azure), including compute, storage, networking, and security configurations.
- Lead complex infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations, hybrid integrations, upgrades, and capacity planning.
- Manage and optimize NetApp storage systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.
- Administer and enhance VMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, virtual networking, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of all infrastructure components.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and tools using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and cloud-native automation tools.
- Proactively monitor system health, performance, and security across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Provide expert Tier 3 support and technical mentorship to junior engineers and technicians within the global team.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution to ensure business continuity.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and systems administration.
- Expert-level knowledge of Dell server hardware and management tools (e.g., iDRAC, OpenManage).
- Extensive experience with NetApp storage systems, including administration, configuration, and protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI).
- Advanced proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related virtualization technologies.
- Advanced proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure, including services for compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for infrastructure automation and monitoring.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, SAN environments, and Windows/Linux server administration.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking fundamentals, compute, storage, and identity management.
Preferred Certifications:
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator Associate (or equivalent)
