Description

You will own IT infrastructure architecture, network security, and capacity planning for LAN/WAN environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design connectivity and security solutions in coordination with state, local, and inter-agency organizations.
• Assess network capacity needs and implement financially sound infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain documentation for network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
• Support the architecture and maintenance of LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and UPS hardware.
• Perform network and security audits, including vulnerability assessments and patch management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network design and implementation.
• Proven experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN environments.
• Hands-on technical knowledge of Cisco, Microsoft, FortiNET, and Meraki.
• Expertise in network capacity planning and network security principles.
• Experience managing network security solutions and disaster recovery procedures.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Experience with VMware.
