Description

Support computing, communication, and network environments including desktop, server, wireless, and voice systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure personal computers, telephones, network equipment, and peripherals.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and monitor switches, hubs, wireless devices, MESH networking components, and RF systems.
• Maintain network infrastructure using copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Assist in managing site servers, process control infrastructure, virtual/physical servers, and storage devices.
• Support MIS and process infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with policies and safety programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware and software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• One relevant technical certification OR equivalent extended experience.
• Hands-on experience with switches, hubs, and wireless devices.
• Knowledge of MESH networking components and RF systems.
• Proficiency with voice systems and network infrastructure (copper and fiber optic).
• Ability to follow verbal and written technical and safety instructions in English.
• Capability to work in manufacturing or mine environments with temperature extremes and electrical risks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
• 3 years tenure in similar infrastructure roles.
