Description

You will manage Unix infrastructure and lead infrastructure technology delivery for unified sector teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize Red Hat Linux and AIX servers, collaborating with factory build teams to meet application requirements.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery from design approval to production handover, managing up to 15 projects with 150-200 servers simultaneously.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and modules to standardize automation across the infrastructure.
• Perform root cause analysis on server issues and troubleshoot complex problems to reduce recurring incidents.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior analysts while conducting design reviews and build sheet documentation.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a track record of operational process improvement.
• 10+ years of Unix System Administrator experience in production support environments.
• Strong proficiency in Red Hat Linux, AIX, and Solaris operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) and Volume Replicator (VVR).
• Expertise in Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Proficiency in Perl scripting and Oracle database administration.
• Experience with Chef automation tools.

Preferred Skills

• Financial services industry experience.
• Familiarity with Atlassian/Jira for project management.
• Experience with storage migration, patching, COB testing, and lift-and-shift operations.
