Description

You will manage and optimize platform and application tiers to ensure the scalability, availability, and resiliency of critical customer-facing applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot environments across the entire stack to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Engineer services for graceful degradation, fault isolation, and quick recovery to minimize customer impact.
• Use automation and configuration management tools for provisioning and system orchestration.
• Drive continuous improvement by providing technical expertise to maximize efficiency and reliability of current platforms and emerging technologies.
• Participate in a 7x12 support environment, including weekends, holidays, and a team on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on administration experience at the platform and application tiers.
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting full-stack architectures.
• 3+ years of hands-on Linux administration.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle SQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Flink, or Postgres.
• 1+ years supporting and monitoring service load balancing architectures, including F5 and VMware AVI.
• Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, GitLab, or Liquibase.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Glassbox, DynaTrace, AppDynamics, or BigPanda AIOps.
• Scripting or programming knowledge in languages including Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Bash, SQL, or Java.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Architect or Engineer certifications, specifically GCP ACE.
