Description

Oversee elevator and escalator installation projects in Mumbai from procurement through final commissioning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs by monitoring expenses and allocating resources and equipment efficiently.
• Ensure installation quality through staged checks and final joint assessments with supervisors.
• Maintain technician health and safety by conducting safety inductions, toolbox talks, and regular patrols.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting in collaboration with manufacturers.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in elevator and escalator installation.
• Proven expertise in elevator installation processes and procurement.
• Experience with resource management and managing teams of supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in quality control and generating quality control reports.
• Ability to manage 4-5 medium-scale projects independently.
• Strong negotiation and client management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical, or a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
