Description

You will design and develop Power BI visualizations and dashboards to support insurance underwriting, claims, and agent stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Formulate reports and views in Power BI based on requirements from underwriting and claims departments.
• Support external agents in extracting reports and building custom views to meet their needs.
• Interpret business requirements and design documents to create semantic data access requirements.
• Blend, manipulate, and transform data to build interactive dashboards and business analytics.
• Convert complex datasets into actionable business insights for management reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing visualizations in Power BI.
• 3 to 4 years of experience working with self-service tools, specifically Power BI.
• 5+ years of experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases and normalization.
• Technical expertise in data modeling, data mart design, and extracting data from multiple sources.
• Deep understanding of Insurance KPIs and KRAs used in industry analytics dashboards.
• Experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
• Proven ability to interact with business users and agents to enable specific reporting.
