Description

You will design and implement large-scale integration solutions on-site in Hartford, CT.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Develop and manage API lifecycles using REST and JSON standards.
• Implement complex integration patterns including publish-subscribe, Saga, and compensation.
• Handle error management and performance tuning for message flows.
• Design and manage database schemas, including MongoDB indexing and sharding.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall experience with 5+ years in integration architecture.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices development.
• Hands-on experience with IIB/ACE and IBM MQ.
• Proficiency in API design using REST, JSON, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Experience with cloud-native design on Azure and GCP (PaaS, AKS/GKE).
• Strong knowledge of data formats including JSON, XML, SOAP, and JWT.
• Familiarity with RDBMS fundamentals and MongoDB schema design.
• Experience with asynchronous and synchronous communication patterns.
