Description

You will lead end-to-end integration architecture for cross-platform systems involving mainframe legacy applications, Java, and Salesforce.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Non-Functional Requirements including TPS, latency, error rates, SLAs, and scalability strategies.
• Translate business needs into architecture artifacts such as sequence diagrams, interface specifications, and deployment diagrams.
• Guide development teams by reviewing design documents, architecture patterns, and integration contracts.
• Recommend tools and patterns including API-led connectivity, event-driven architecture, and messaging queues.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure environments are configured for performance and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture with a focus on integration.
• Proven experience integrating mainframe (CICS, DB2, MQ) and legacy Java applications with Salesforce via APIs and outbound messaging.
• Deep understanding of REST and SOAP APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Ability to read and interpret Java, Spring, or Salesforce Apex code to identify integration points.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and container-based deployments.
• Familiarity with API Gateways such as Apigee, MuleSoft, or Azure API Management.
