Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing mainframe interfaces and integration processes, including batch processing, file transfers, and message queues.
• Design and develop modern .NET/C# integration solutions to replace or enhance legacy/mainframe integrations.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs for internal and external system integrations.
• Develop and maintain integration processes involving APIs, batch jobs, asynchronous processing, message queues, and managed file transfers.
• Integrate applications and enterprise systems using APIs, messaging platforms, file-transfer mechanisms, and other integration technologies.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable and scalable solutions.
• Optimize integration performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with technical leads, developers, testers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and validate integration requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development, security, documentation, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain automated unit tests using frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit.
• Use Git-based version control and participate in CI/CD development and deployment workflows.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for integration processes, APIs, interfaces, and system dependencies.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, development, testing, and delivery.
• Ensure solutions comply with applicable state and federal security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications

1. 7+ years of experience working on complex software development projects, including 2+ years in a leadership role as a Developer.
2. 7+ years of experience in integration application design and development, including API, batch, and asynchronous integrations, across complex projects with significant business logic.
3. 7+ years of experience developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing integrations, including APIs, asynchronous processes, and batch processes, with strong knowledge of mainframe interfaces and integration patterns such as batch, file-based, and message queue integrations, and proven experience modernizing these integrations into .NET-based solutions.

Additional Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
2. 7+ years of experience designing, documenting, developing, and implementing integration processes and solutions using .NET/C#.
3. 7+ years of experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and application integration, including secure web services and SOAP/RESTful APIs.
4. 4+ years of experience developing message queue processing solutions, with IBM MQ preferred, and/or experience with an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
5. 7+ years of experience working with Entity Framework.
6. 7+ years of experience with unit testing frameworks, preferably xUnit and/or NUnit.
7. 5+ years of experience with distributed version control systems such as Git.
8. 2+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD workflows and pipelines.
9. 2+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
10. 2+ years of experience working in a federal or state government environment. Experience supporting Health and Human Services programs, particularly Integrated Eligibility System (IES) programs such as Public Assistance (PA), Temporary Assistance (TA), SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, or Child Support, is preferred
