Description

Manage and automate infrastructure and application deployments using Ansible and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Ansible roles, playbooks, group variables, and inventory files for server configuration.
• Implement infrastructure automation for auto-provisioning, code deployments, and software installations.
• Integrate Git repositories with Ansible Tower to automate playbook deployment.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab integrated with VMware, Microsoft, and Cisco technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Ansible scripts and automation workflows.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in technical applications, products, or platforms.
• Expertise in Ansible and Ansible Tower for configuration management and task automation.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, and GitHub for branching, tagging, and version control.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
• Hands-on experience with VMware technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with Cisco technologies.
• Experience managing automation across both Linux and Windows platforms.
• Experience with enterprise-level storage solutions and RHEL technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of OpenShift.
• Experience working with NYC government or public safety environments.
