Description

You will lead the migration of BizTalk EDI interfaces to Azure Integration Services while building and operationalizing AI/ML models for automated integration scenarios.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate BizTalk EDI interfaces to Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, and Functions.
• Build, fine-tune, and deploy AI/ML models for EDI document classification, schema inference, and exception detection.
• Rebuild EDI schemas, maps, trading partner configurations, and agreements to modernize workflows.
• Troubleshoot X12 and EDIFACT transactions and integration failures across environments.
• Design end-to-end integration solutions combining AI automation, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native patterns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in enterprise integration with hands-on BizTalk Server and EDI experience.
• 2+ years working with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Integration Account).
• Experience building or fine-tuning AI/ML models using Python, Azure ML, or Azure OpenAI.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT), schemas, maps, and trading partner setups.
• Proficiency in JSON, XML, XSLT, Liquid templates, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience automating EDI mapping or transformation using AI/ML.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Event Grid, Event Hub) and MLOps practices.
• Experience with data engineering tools (Databricks, Synapse).
