The role

As an Integration Engineer, you will support the integration and testing of software and hardware components within a complex, software focused air traffic management system.

Working as part of an integrated product team, you will coordinate integration activities, troubleshoot system issues and ensure components operate together effectively while meeting functional, performance, security and quality requirements.

You will contribute to environment setup, system testing, automation, technical documentation and verification activities while supporting the successful delivery of a major aviation technology program.

Key responsibilities

·        Integrate and test incremental software releases across complex systems and subsystems.

·        Configure and maintain environments for integration, testing, validation and acceptance activities.

·        Define and execute regression, interface, simulation and system performance testing.

·        Analyse, troubleshoot and document technical and functional issues.

·        Collaborate with systems, infrastructure and verification teams to ensure alignment with designs and specifications.

·        Develop integration test documentation and supporting engineering artefacts.

·        Create scripts to automate system administration and integration tasks.

·        Identify delivery risks, recommend solutions and support mitigation activities.

·        Provide technical support to junior integration engineers and verification teams.

·        Work directly with customer stakeholders and support knowledge sharing across the program.

About you

·        At least 3 years of experience integrating complex, software focused real time systems.

·        Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.

·        Strong experience troubleshooting virtualisation platforms and client or server operating systems.

·        Practical knowledge of Linux or Unix, Windows and VMware environments.

·        Scripting experience using Python, Shell and XML.

·        Experience with automation and delivery tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.

·        Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Jira and configuration management practices.

·        Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, PKI and cybersecurity principles.

·        Understanding of network protocols including SNMP, UDP, TCP and IP.

·        Experience with debugging and monitoring tools such as Wireshark.

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical matters clearly.

Desirable experience

·        Programming experience using Java or C++.

·        Site integration and system deployment experience.

·        Knowledge of network configuration and distributed systems.

·        Experience delivering large scale integration projects.

·        Previous exposure to air traffic control or other complex, mission critical environments.

·        Eligibility to obtain the required Singapore security clearance.

·        Availability for occasional international travel
