Description

You will manage technical connectivity between the cloud platform and external healthcare systems, including EHRs and HIEs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data integrations using InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS between HIE partners and internal systems.
• Develop XSLTs and DTLs to transform CCDA, FHIR, and HL7 messages to and from SDA format.
• Debug and resolve defects in InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS for connected healthcare participants.
• Build and support interfaces enabling real-time, bi-directional data flow.
• Create technical specifications from business requirements and oversee best practices through code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical integration roles.
• Deep expertise with HL7 v2.x and FHIR data standards.
• Hands-on experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine, including mapping and communication points.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for data transformation and logic control.
• Experience working with RESTful/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge of InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS.
• Experience with cloud-based environments or SaaS health tech products.
• Understanding of clinical workflows and digital health data integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SMART on FHIR, OAuth2-based APIs, or Epic EHR systems.
• HL7 or Rhapsody certification.
