Description

You will support Microsoft-led security assessment activities to strengthen the organization’s Microsoft 365, Defender, and Azure security posture.

Responsibilities

• Support the Microsoft-led security assessment initiative through preparation, coordination, and follow-up.
• Review assessment findings to help internal teams understand identified risks and remediation steps.
• Analyze and enhance Microsoft Defender security posture by prioritizing improvements based on risk.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement Microsoft security best practices.
• Develop documented reviews of Microsoft Defender security scores, gap analyses, and phased remediation plans.
• Update RBAC models and Intune configurations to align with least-privilege design.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Security roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender and Intune security posture management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC.
• Experience supporting or responding to security assessments, audits, or posture reviews.
• Proven ability to document findings and recommendations clearly.
• Knowledge of least-privilege design principles.
• Ability to obtain required security clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Cybersecurity certifications focused on Azure and Microsoft 365 security.
• Experience developing improvement plans and tracking remediation efforts.
• Ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
