Description

Akkodis is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of data‑driven enterprise applications. The successful consultant will work within a structured development environment, translating technical and business requirements into well‑tested software solutions while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Scope

Develop and maintain web and desktop applications using Microsoft .NET technologies

Translate technical system specifications and business requirements into functional software components

Contribute to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance

Support implementation, conversion, and migration activities as required.

Assignment Deliverables

Functional and tested application components aligned with technical specifications

Clean, maintainable, and testable source code

Unit and integration testing results

Technical documentation supporting ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

2-5 years’ experience:

Development Tools: Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio (VB and C# preferred) to build ASP.NET MVC and .NET Windows desktop applications.

Database: Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (2014 or later), including writing stored procedures, designing database objects, and optimizing queries.

Services: Experience creating and maintaining Web APIs and Windows services using .NET (C# or VB).

Reporting: Proficiency with Active Report; Familiarity with SSRS and Crystal 2016.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to Microsoft Azure and modern frameworks (Entity Framework, AngularJS, WCF)

Familiarity with SharePoint or similar enterprise collaboration platforms

Experience working with financial or data‑driven systems.
