Description

Akkodis is seeking an Intermediate Specialized IT Consultant with strong expertise in Business Intelligence, Power BI, ETL, and Data Analytics to support the design, development, and delivery of enterprise BI solutions. The successful consultant will work across business and technical teams to analyze requirements, translate business needs into scalable BI solutions, and deliver high‑quality analytics platforms following GO‑ITS standards and industry best practices.

Scope

Design, develop, and support BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI (On‑Prem & Cloud) and Cognos

Translate business requirements into technical BI, reporting, and data solutions

Support full SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and release coordination

Collaborate with Release, Infrastructure, Operations, and Business stakeholders.

Assignment Deliverables

Power BI and Cognos reports, dashboards, and semantic models

ETL workflows, data transformation processes, and automation pipelines

Technical design artefacts, data models, and documentation

Release documentation (Release Books) and deployment coordination support.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

5+ years of experience as an I&IT / BI Consultant in complex enterprise environments

Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI Service (Cloud) and Power BI Server (On‑Prem) for report and dashboard development

Proven expertise with MS SQL Server, data analysis, and semantic model design

Solid experience with ETL processes, including SSIS, data transformation, and daily job scheduling/monitoring

Experience supporting release deployments, coordinating with Release, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to cloud services, data warehousing, and advanced analytics solutions

Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation using Azure DevOps or similar tools

Knowledge of GO‑ITS standards and/or public‑sector delivery frameworks.
