Description

You will support security operations through active monitoring, investigation, and remediation of security alerts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM tool dashboards and handle reporting creation.
• Perform security incident response and initial analysis to assess alert severity and depth.
• Conduct log reviews using security controls including EDR, Email Security, WAF, and IDS.
• Identify opportunities to automate SOC operational tasks.
• Develop playbooks for new monitoring use cases.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Industry-recognized security certification.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS and GCP.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as AV/EDR, Firewall, Malware, IDS, IPS, Phishing, and WAF.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder coordination.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working in a SOC environment.
• Knowledge of Threat Hunting and Threat Intelligence.
