Description

You will execute an annual risk-based audit plan covering operational, financial, and compliance audits across organizational functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full audit lifecycle from initiation and statistical sampling to testing and report writing.
• Review accounting processes and volunteer relationship management to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify system inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions to improve processes.
• Support the Internal Audit Manager with Conflict of Interest reporting and special projects.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in public or internal audit.
• Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles.
• Experience performing process audits and evaluating adherence to policies and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate findings and negotiate corrective actions with management.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Proficiency with Google Apps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Experience using Oracle.
