Description

Lead the implementation of an Investment Data Store and establish technology patterns for data processing.

Responsibilities

• Guide project teams in implementing data engineering patterns and homegrown solutions.
• Design data workflows that incorporate data governance considerations.
• Coach team members to ensure technical knowledge transfer and future autonomy.
• Document architecture and workflows to facilitate efficient knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate within a team environment to build the foundation of the data strategy.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related discipline.
• Expertise using the Snowflake platform, including Snowflake Marketplace and Snowpark.
• Experience utilizing AWS services to create data pipelines.
• Proficiency with AWS Cloud Formation and Data Warehouse implementation.
• Knowledge of multiple data engineering implementation patterns.
• Ability to integrate data governance into technical workflows.
• Strong history of technical documentation and coaching.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Institutional Investment data.
• Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
