Description

You will act as a senior member of the mobile team, driving the implementation and enhancement of native iOS applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of new mobile features and app enhancements.
• Define and implement development standards for mobile engineering.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Guide the future direction of mobile technology and tool adoption.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore vendors to meet project deliverables.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience building commercial mobile applications.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building native iPhone/iPad apps using Xcode and Objective-C.
• Extensive experience consuming SOAP and REST web services.
• Proficiency with XML Schemas, AJAX, WSDL, and WADL.
• Strong experience processing XML and JSON data.
• Deep understanding of mobile application security and usability.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work in both team and individual contributor environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java J2EE, Android, or mobile JavaScript frameworks like Sencha Touch or jQuery Mobile.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, or CSS3.
• Experience writing and tuning queries for relational databases such as Oracle or DB2.
• Background in mobile analytics.
