Description

Design and build native iOS applications while ensuring full compliance with accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and build iOS applications using Objective-C, Swift, and SwiftUI.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following object-oriented principles.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement new features.
• Integrate accessibility testing into the development lifecycle to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Manage data synchronization and web service consumption via REST/JSON and SOAP/XML.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with iOS SDK and native languages (Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C).
• 5+ years of experience across the full iOS SDLC and latest iOS APIs.
• Proficiency with Core Data, Auto Layout, Blocks, and Notifications.
• 3+ years of experience in Web Service Design and Mobile Web App Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Digital Accessibility, WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, and WAI-ARIA.
• Experience with various authentication protocols and relational database development.
• Competency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, and React.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of platform technologies including Android, HTML, and CSS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing an "Accessibility by Default" development approach.
• Ability to incorporate accessibility into the "definition of done" for digital products.
