Description

You own automated testing for iOS applications, writing and maintaining unit and UI tests to ensure release stability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated unit tests using XCTest and UI tests using XCUITest in Swift or Objective-C.
• Simulate UI interactions programmatically and inspect visual states to validate app behavior.
• Debug failing tests, resolve flakiness, and maintain stable, continuously runnable test suites.
• Monitor performance regressions using XCTest capabilities and address issues within the Xcode workflow.
• Collaborate with iOS developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage across the codebase.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in iOS testing and quality engineering.
• Strong expertise in Xcode, XCTest, and XCUITest frameworks.
• Proficiency in Swift and working knowledge of Objective-C.
• Experience in test writing, debugging, and validation.
• Understanding of performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work seamlessly within Xcode's testing workflow and Test Navigator.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Xcode Instruments.
• Familiarity with using AI tools in the SDLC and prompt engineering.
