Description

Design and manage scalable IoT architectures, focusing on edge computing and cloud integration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy IoT solutions using Azure IoT, AWS IoT, or PTC ThingWorx.
• Implement multi-tenancy and secure communication via Kubernetes on the edge and Docker.
• Integrate industrial protocols including MQTT, AMQP, Modbus, OPC/UA, Zigbee, LoRa, BLE, NB-IoT, and WebSocket.
• Develop edge gateways and manage interactions with industrial MCUs, IoT sensors, and devices.
• Build monitoring dashboards and visualization tools using Python, C#, Java, and Grafana.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on development in .NET, C#, or Java.
• Strong expertise in Azure IoT (mandatory); AWS IoT or PTC ThingWorx experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Linux-based operating systems and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration, specifically in edge environments.
• Knowledge of HTML5 and web standards for interface development.
• Familiarity with Python for scripting or backend services.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with industrial MCUs and embedded sensor integration.
• Background in designing edge gateways for industrial IoT applications.
