Description

You will develop and deploy edge computing applications for the Agora Gateway, owning the full lifecycle from user-defined use cases to production release.

Responsibilities

• Implement algorithms directly on the edge and design applications using the Agora SDK.
• Engage with end users to define specific use cases and ensure technical alignment with business needs.
• Develop reusable code and libraries for deployment across edge nodes.
• Execute integration testing and Test-Driven Development practices to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions using Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience developing applications in C, C++, Python, or .NET Core.
• Strong understanding of IoT, security, and communication protocols including MQTT and AMQP.
• Experience implementing IoT solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Linux and Bash scripting.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in embedded software development involving RTOS, ADC, and buffers.
• Experience with single-board computers like Raspberry Pi or virtual machines such as VirtualBox or VMware.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
