Description

You will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Kubernetes and Java to manage scalable systems in a containerized environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters across development, testing, and production environments.
• Develop scalable, maintainable Java-based microservices and build RESTful APIs.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments to Kubernetes clusters.
• Configure, deploy, and monitor microservices architecture within Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot application issues using monitoring tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expert proficiency in Java 8+ with frameworks like Spring Boot or Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience building and maintaining microservices architectures in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Strong understanding of IIoT networking, including firewall concepts.
• Familiarity with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git for version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ignition or SCADA systems.
• Background in IoT edge computing.
