Description

Lead reservoir production digitization by building and maintaining Azure IoT Edge solutions for remote wellsite control and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate Azure IoT Edge platforms on ARM-based Linux devices.
• Interface edge devices with Modbus and OPC-UA industrial control systems.
• Implement store-and-forward mechanisms to handle connectivity gaps between devices and IoT Hub.
• Build automated deployment pipelines to push cloud updates to remote devices.
• Maintain deliverables and create baseline codebases for other business units.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• 2 years of experience running C# on Linux (ARM).
• Hands-on experience with Azure IoT Hub and Azure IoT Edge.
• Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Linux environments and software deployment to remote devices.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Industrial Control Systems and OT Security standards like IEC 62443.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end IoT projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience interfacing with Modbus and OPC-UA protocols.
• Knowledge of certificate-based authentication deployment for edge devices.
