Description

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale IoT solutions, translating functional requirements into technical designs and executable code. Own the architecture to ensure availability, scalability, security, and business continuity across Connected Technology programs.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into technical designs, documentation, and code.
• Lead the design process for enterprise solutions ensuring security and scalability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and initiate new features.
• Estimate development work and analyze software to identify shortcomings.
• Maintain application standards by staying current with cloud and IoT technologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years as an IoT Architect with a proven track record.
• 12+ years professional software engineering experience.
• 8+ years with Cloud PaaS/SaaS technologies.
• Proficiency in .NET, Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with Azure IoT Central, IoT Hub, IoT Edge, and Digital Twin.
• Experience interfacing with OPCUA and MODBUS servers using Python or Java.
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, DynamoDB, S3, DocumentDB, or MongoDB.
• Experience designing cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PowerShell, Linux Shell Scripting, or Terraform.
