Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain remote office infrastructure to support VoIP, voice, video, and data services across the state.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement remote office infrastructure, including IT closet, rack, and cabinet layouts.
• Develop cost estimates, quotes, statements of work for vendors, and floor plans.
• Manage end-to-end coordination of data and voice cable infrastructure installations statewide.
• Coordinate service repairs for state telephony systems and telco services, including on-call availability.
• Conduct site inspections, infrastructure audits, and final systems acceptance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in telecom cable infrastructure installation and design.
• 5+ years of experience with PBX, KTS, LAN, CAN, cabling, ACD, IVR, messaging, VoIP, WAN, video, and wireless access points.
• 5+ years of experience applying NEC/OSHA codes and standards.
• 5+ years of experience using Visio, Adobe Pro, and CAD for infrastructure design.
• Proven experience in project management and vendor invoice auditing.
• Telecommunication certification in PBX/KSU.
• RCDD certification.
• Associate Degree in Electronics, Computer Sciences, or EET.

Preferred Skills

• Collaboration with network, IP voice, server, and desktop teams during office buildouts or relocations.
