Description

We are looking for a strong Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) Developer with hands-on experience supporting and developing traditional RPA/automation solutions, along with exposure to or experience building Agentic AI solutions.

This role will bridge existing enterprise automation capabilities with emerging AI technologies, helping modernize current RPA use cases while designing new intelligent and agent-based automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

RPA / IPA Development

• Design, develop, enhance, and support existing RPA and IPA solutions.
• Analyze existing automation workflows and identify opportunities for optimization or modernization.
• Troubleshoot production automation issues and improve reliability and performance.
• Integrate automation solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and workflow platforms.
• Develop reusable automation components and patterns.

Agentic AI / Intelligent Automation

• Design and develop Agentic AI solutions that can reason, orchestrate tasks, interact with enterprise systems, and execute business processes.
• Evaluate where traditional RPA should remain in place versus where AI agents or hybrid Agent + RPA patterns provide greater value.
• Integrate AI agents with APIs, enterprise data, workflows, and existing automation platforms.
• Develop human-in-the-loop patterns for processes requiring validation, approval, or exception management.
• Support emerging AI use cases involving LLMs, copilots, autonomous/semi-autonomous agents, and intelligent workflow orchestration.

Engineering & Governance

• Follow enterprise development, security, testing, deployment, and governance standards.
• Create technical documentation, solution designs, and operational support documentation.
• Work closely with business SMEs, architects, AI teams, security, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Support solutions through development, testing, deployment, and production stabilization.

Desired Technical Skills

Core

• Strong RPA/IPA development experience.
• Experience with platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar automation technologies.
• Strong API and system integration experience.
• REST APIs, JSON, databases/SQL, authentication, and enterprise application integration.
• Experience with Python, .NET, JavaScript, or comparable development technologies.

Agentic AI / AI

• Experience or familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, tool/function calling, orchestration, prompt engineering, and RAG.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems and data.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, LangChain/LangGraph, or comparable frameworks is beneficial.
• Understanding of responsible AI, security, observability, identity/access, and governance for enterprise AI solutions.

Ideal Candidate

We want someone who is not purely an RPA developer. The ideal candidate understands traditional automation but is actively building skills and experience in the next generation of automation:

They should be able to look at an existing process and determine whether the right solution is RPA, API/workflow automation, an AI agent, or a combination of these technologies
