Description

You will configure, test, and troubleshoot service provider-grade routers and switches in a production environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain routing protocols including IS-IS, BGP, Segment Routing, and MPLS.
• Perform network performance and scalability testing using Ixia and Spirent tools.
• Analyze logs and capture telemetry data to identify issues and document findings.
• Manage network configuration and monitoring via NETCONF, gNMI, and streaming telemetry.
• Maintain structured documentation for test cases, results, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with service provider or telecom network environments.
• Deep understanding of IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, and traffic engineering.
• Proficiency with Ixia and Spirent for network validation.
• Experience with NETCONF, gNMI, and streaming telemetry platforms.
• Ability to capture and analyze network logs for performance monitoring.
• Strong documentation skills for test cases and configurations.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to automation tools such as Python and Ansible.
