Description

Develop and maintain healthcare interoperability solutions using InterSystems IRIS and ObjectScript.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom classes, extension properties, and solutions using ObjectScript and InterSystems IRIS/Cache.
• Implement and troubleshoot HL7 interfaces and custom messaging formats including SDA, CCDA, and JSON.
• Manage production deployments of IRIS for Health within Kubernetes environments using the InterSystems Kubernetes Operator (IKO).
• Execute CQ Initiator and Responder workflows to support healthcare data exchange.
• Integrate external systems using SFTP, HL7, and HTTP adapters.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in InterSystems IRIS or Cache development.
• Expertise in ObjectScript and healthcare interoperability standards.
• Hands-on experience with HL7, SDA, CCDA, and JSON data formats.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and the InterSystems Kubernetes Operator (IKO).
• Experience working with Azure cloud environments and cloud-native patterns.
• Familiarity with CQ Initiator and Responder workflows.
• Competency with GitHub, Serena, VS Code, and Linux/Unix tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with InterSystems IRIS for Health.
