Description

You will develop and support applications on the iSeries/AS400 platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and create new programs using RPG, RPG ILE, SQLRPGLE, and Control Language (CLP/CLLE).
• Analyze and modify complex SQL queries, embedded SQL, cursor programming, and SQL stored procedures.
• Create and manage physical files, logical files, SQL tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures.
• Document business rules and create data mapping documents after analyzing program and data flows.
• Analyze and create program modules, binding directories, and service programs using ILE.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with AS400 and iSeries development.
• Expert programming skills in RPG, RPG ILE, SQLRPGLE, and Control Language (CLP/CLLE).
• Strong knowledge of SQL concepts, including cursor programming and stored procedures.
• Experience with display files, subfiles, and printer files for screen programming.
• Working knowledge of Message Queue (MQ), MQ Trigger, and embedding XML tags in RPG programs.
• Ability to analyze and document program and data flows against business rules.
