Description

You will develop and maintain applications on the iSeries platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and create new programs using RPG, RPG ILE, SQLRPGLE, and Control Language (CLP/CLLE).
• Analyze and modify complex SQL queries, including embedded SQL in SQLRPGLE and cursor programming.
• Manage database objects such as physical files, logical files, SQL tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures.
• Develop screen programming components including display files, subfiles, and printer files.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in iSeries development.
• Proficiency in RPG and RPG ILE.
• Experience with SQLRPGLE and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Control Language (CLP/CLLE).
• Deep understanding of SQL concepts and cursor programming.
• Hands-on experience with database design, including physical and logical files.
• Ability to work with stored procedures and views.
• Experience in screen programming using display files and subfiles.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
