Description

You will develop and maintain applications on the iSeries platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and create new programs using RPG, RPG ILE, SQLRPGLE, and Control Language (CLP/CLLE).
• Modify complex SQL queries, embedded SQL in SQLRPGLE, and cursor programming.
• Manage database objects including Physical files, Logical files, SQL tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures.
• Develop screen programming using Display files, Subfiles, and Printer files.
• Document business rules and create data mapping documents by analyzing program and data flows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in iSeries development.
• Proficiency in RPG, RPG ILE, and SQLRPGLE.
• Strong knowledge of CLP/CLLE and Control Language.
• Advanced SQL skills and database management.
• Experience with MQ (Message Queue).
• Ability to own project tasks and communicate effectively with analysts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Display files, Subfiles, and Printer files.
