Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize IBM AS400 iSeries applications, integrating legacy logic with modern .NET systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop free-format RPG programs and sub-procedures within the Integrated Language Environment (ILE).
• Debug and optimize existing RPG/CL programs to meet performance standards.
• Create technical design documents and present solutions to clients.
• Manage database interactions using DB2/400 and write complex SQL queries.
• Integrate iSeries logic with .NET applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the IBM AS400 iSeries platform.
• Strong proficiency in RPGLE, including ILE and free-format coding.
• Experience creating and debugging CL programs.
• Proficient in DB2/400 database management and SQL.
• Ability to build sub-procedures, subroutines, and service programs.
• Experience integrating iSeries systems with .NET applications.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps principles.
