Description

You will develop and maintain iSeries programs, owning the full lifecycle from requirement gathering to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Document and gather business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain programs using COBOL ILE and CL.
• Solve complex technical problems with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with project teams and management to meet release deadlines.
• Work over release weekends as needed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of development experience in iSeries.
• Proficiency in COBOL ILE and CL.
• Experience with DB2 and MQ.
• Hands-on experience with Aldon.
• Experience working with embedded SQL.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HP Service Center, HP/Mercury Quality Center, or WebSphere.
• Prior experience with healthcare insurance payers.
• Experience with PowerMHS v. 6 or v. 7.2.
