Description

You will manage physical infrastructure deployment and data center operations, ensuring hardware and connectivity integrity.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and troubleshoot servers, network devices, and cabling in data center environments.
• Audit physical data connections between switches and servers, verifying port mappings and correcting misconfigurations.
• Diagnose hardware issues, determine root causes of failures, and escalate complex problems.
• Maintain detailed records of device locations, configurations, and audit results using established systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT administration or similar technical role.
• Proficiency in Linux, including strong command-line skills and basic scripting.
• Familiarity with data center hardware, tools, and operational procedures.
• Experience auditing physical network connectivity and validating port configurations.
• Ability to perform hands-on hardware installation, cable tracing, and physical audits.
• Knowledge of Network fundamentals and troubleshooting practices.
• Willingness to work afternoon and weekend shifts to support 24/7 operations.
