Description

You will support the full software development lifecycle by analyzing requirements and assisting in the development of moderately complex programs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs and define requirements for strategic and tactical software projects.
• Develop, program, and test code using Informatica, PL/SQL, and Progress to meet business needs.
• Perform data analysis, including loading, balancing, and creating derived fields or process flows.
• Document all development changes and investigate technical issues to implement timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with developers, quality analysts, and project managers to meet milestones and ensure system accuracy.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL or similar procedural languages.
• Experience with SQL and Informatica.
• Working knowledge of UNIX command line interface.
• Technical familiarity with C#, C++, C, Korn Shell Script, or Perl.
• Experience with Oracle databases and Progress 4GL.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for requirement gathering and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
• Formal education in business applications design and user requirement interpretation.
